Slip leads are the special leads just for lure coursing. They
are designed to fall off the dog’s neck at the “T” in Tally
Ho! These are NOT for daily walks. The Quick Release leads are
made for racing, when the dogs are loaded in a starting box.
The leads have a special mechanism to remove the collar
without having to go over the head (and the muzzle). Some
folks use Quick Release leads for lure coursing, but I am no
way coordinated enough to do that!
